What happens to your room and luggage during the Mashair days?Especially on a shifting package.
Which camp zone in Mina, and how far from Jamarat?The biggest single variable in the whole package.
What transportation plan moves you between sites?Bus, Mashair train, or a mix.
Which meals, at which times?Are those times compatible with the Hajj schedule, and can the kitchen cater for diabetics, vegetarians and allergies?
Who leads the group, and is a scholar present in the camp?

Where do you arrive — Jeddah or Madinah?It changes your Ihram plan; arriving in Madinah first is the easier option.
The walking route to the HaramThe real pedestrian route, judged in minutes rather than by the star count.
Elevators, and access for anyone with limited mobilityThis sounds trivial until several hundred pilgrims return from Salah at once.
Is the hady (the sacrificial animal) included?Often arranged through the package. The answer is not consistent, so confirm it.
Are flights included?Almost none include getting you to the airport the group departs from.
The biggest single variable is the camp zone and the walk to Jamarat, not the hotel. Everything else being equal, spend there.
